Before the Black Mamba made his name on the hardwood, back in Italy he was a football fan. As an ode to his continuing fandom, Nike Basketball presents the Kobe 8 Mambacurial.
The Mambacurial combines the engineered mesh of the KOBE 8 SYSTEM with the Nike Mercurial Vapor IX boot’s unique silhouette and colorway.
Much like the Kobe System, the Mercurial has maintained a reputation for light weight and bold design since its launch 15 years ago.
“Boot design has influenced my shoe in the past but the Kobe 8 Mambacurial brings it full circle. It’s great to see powerful design come together across sports,” Kobe says.
